The congress highlights up-to-date theoretical and practical aspects of diagnosis and management of the metabolic syndrome. Its goal is to sum up practical experience and fundamental guidelines for epidemiology, pathogenesis and clinic of metabolic syndrome, composing pharmacological prevention at improving living standards and prevention of metabolic syndrome and its complications.

The best accomplishments in the field of ecology and their authors are to be rewarded with diplomas and medals of the European Academy of Natural Sciences.

During the Forum a number of professional excursions and a tour of Hanover as well and social events will be offered.
