Objects of fishing and products of their processing represent huge raw potential for obtaining of biologically active substances - BAS and natural concentrates on their basis - biologically active supplements to food - BASF. Advantages of use of fishing objects are: use of accessible sea raw material, ecological safety, a wide spectrum of treatment-and-prophylactic action.

In TINRO-Centre researches on a line of classes BAS - proteins, enzymes, peptides, nucleic acids, fish fats, carbohydrates are carried out. High pharmacological value hydrobiontes BAS, profitability and ecological cleanliness of manufacture of end-products has raised interest in Russian and foreign manufacturers and various medical institutions. For manufacture of BASF effective physical and chemical methods of allocation and clearing (step separation, specific extraction, enzymes hydrolysis, ultrafiltration) put in the basis of industrial technologies are developed. Priority development of the structure and applications of BASF for prevention and corrections of diseases of various etiologies proves to be true with the patents protecting ways of reception.

Now there were produced more than 15 nominations of BASF related to the category nutriceutics and parapharmaceutics. From squids optical ganglia it is received BASF «Tinrostim» into which structure enter low-molecular peptides and free amino acids. As a result of preclinical tests it has been established, that it renders dose depend effects on reaction humoral and cellular immunity in vitro and in vivo. «Tinrostim» modulates functional activity of polymorphonuclear leukocytes, macrophages. From salmons milts low-molecular DNA is procceded, recommended to application in the regenerative period after the transferred diseases accompanying with deterioration of functional parameters of intellectual and physical health. There are preparations of a series “Molluskam” produced from two-folding mollusks, enriched by free amino acids, including taurine, that stimulate cardiovascular system, functions of sight; series «Nucleatin» developed from gonad hydrobionts, containing free amino acids and oligonucleotides, strengthening physical and intellectual abilities; series «Artrotin» based on hydrobiont cartilage tissues, containing aminosugars and the soluble collagen, stimulating metabolism of the connecting tissue. Sources for BASF of a lipid nature - «Omega-3 euconat», «Krusmarine», «Eucolan» - are fats of fishes, crabs and squids. Except for polynonsaturated fat acids they contain significant amounts phospholipids, b-carotin and also alkyl-gliceril ethers. They essentially raise the immune status of an organism and can be applied at allergic diseases and asthma.

Specified BASF are recommended to use for prevention and correction in various fields of medicine: internal medicine, hematology, oncology, gynecology, pulmonology, neurology.
