Application of nanotechnologies in stockbreeding is an important task of the modern agriculture. Aiming at preventing gastrointestinal tract (GIT) disorders, we investigated the action of nanosized powders (nanocomposition Cu-40%, Fe-40%, Zn-20%; 200 grams of dry nanosized powder diluted in 1 liter glycerin with some addition of xantan gum and other substances. Unit weight - 1,36-1,37 made by the company «Ultradispersional systems» through the method of nanotechnology to prevent GIT in young livestock. One of the main directions of the modern nanotechnologies is chemical synthesis of nanosized particles of metals based on restoration of ions of metals into atoms followed by aggregation of atoms and ions with the emergence of nanoparticles. Those particles are digested and produce a physiologically active impact on the animal’s body which is several times stronger than existing natural mineral substances or their chemical analogues. Pigs more than other stock animals are in need of mineral supplements, macro- and microelements, especially such as copper, iron and zinc due to their dynamic growth and development. It is known that copper is an inhibitor of pathogenic microflora in the gastrointestinal tract. A microbiological laboratory examination showed that the exposure to the action of the product MPK-3 fully suppresses the development of pathogenic, conditionally pathogenic microorganisms and fungous microflora. At the same time it does not cause an inhibiting action on the normal microflora of bifidobacteria and lactobacillus. Besides, copper deficit negatively influences the ability to absorb iron and results in decrease of hematopoietic function and general hemoglobin level in piglets. Iron is widely acknowledged as an antianemic substance for newly born species as according to definition by R.Sutton alimentary anemia is decrease in circulating hemoglobin level, which is predominately typical for young stock. Zink as a catalyst is involved in more than 200 fermentation reactions in the body, protects from eczematous problems and partly regulates the level of hemoglobin in blood. First time in Kaluga region at ZAO V.N. Tsvetkov Livestock Factory ultradispersial metal-polymer composition (Cu-Fe-Zn) - a preparation of new generation, produced by the method of nanotechnologies for peroral administration in breast fed piglets and calves with the purpose of analyzing the effectiveness of prophylaxis of gastrointestinal disorders and general survival rate of the livestock. Weekly intake of the nanomineral supplement within a month led to a complete recovery from the existed dyspepsia and one time weekly intake by the newly born piglets and calves solved the problem completely. Summaries:
  1. Preparation (Cu-40%, Fe-40%, Zn-20%) normalizes and prevents from gastrointestinal disorders in breast fed piglets and calves.
  2. The nanocomposition raises general survival rate, growth and development of young livestock.
  3. A positive economic effect is achieved due to increase in survival and weight increment in weak animals.
