HOMEOSYNIATRY AS A METHOD TO IMPROVE ADAPTIVE CAPABILITIES IN TREATMENT OF INJURIES
Moscow Institute of Homeopathy, Moscow, Russia

Depending on its duration, intensity etc., any traumatic or damaging influence on a body can cause disintegration in the activity of supraspinal vegetative structures that participate in the formation of protective compensatory and adaptive reactions. This disintegration can be prevented by reflexotherapeutic activation of a certain system of neurocytes that is able to block or suppress the pathological input from a diseased area.

This method (homeosyniatry) was used for treatment of lower leg or ankle-joint fracture and proved its high efficiency in improving the general state of patients, optimising the regeneration of bone tissue, and accelerating the recovery. The group of patients who were treated using this method consisted of 80 people, and the reference group was 200 people.

The treatment included four to five procedures, supplemented by physical therapy, massage, and remedial gymnastics. The analgetic effect was felt immediately after the séance and continued for one or two days. Pathologic symptoms like hydrops and stiffness were relieved earlier than in the reference group.

The method consists in combined use of a modified acupunctural technique (cautery), forming compounds that act like autonosodes, and very low concentrations of homeopathic preparations that improve the general resistance of a body. This corrective therapy is necessary because of the development of global metabolic imbalance in organs and tissues, which changes the nature of response to normal agents and medications.

This method has the following advantages. Unlike with microneedle, which is used for prolonged intervention, influence can be measured and dosed precisely, and appropriate parameters can be chosen depending on the specific task. The acupuncture loci and local points of tenderness can be exactly defined on the basis of intensity of current-voltage anomaly. Combined use of homeopathic preparations and acupuncture can substantially reduce emotional stress and improve the general adaptive responses.

Creation of barriers to painful input at all levels, coupled with stress prevention, protects the vegetative centres and the body in general from various traumatic or damaging influences and the environment. In our opinion, it is advisable to use this approach as an indispensable component for normalisation of corticosubcortical connections.

For certain reasons, this method alone does not meet all the requirements of modern analgesia and injury and wound therapy, but can significantly enhance adaptive capabilities of a body by improving self-regulatory processes, normalising interaction between systems, and thus increasing the efficiency of curative and rehabilitation measures.
