Conclusion:
From the viewpoint of traditional Chinese medicine metabolic syndrome is multicomponent.
It develops during the whole human life. A number of patient’s particular
features, such as hereditary pathology, way of life, environment, nutrition
and the state of psychoemotional sphere, play a crucial role in development
of several particular syndromes. The whole of these syndromes is known in Western
medicine as metabolic syndrome. Considering the strong influence of MS
upon the development of cardiovascular complications, its modern diagnostics
should take a crucial position in medical practice. MS prophylaxis should be
conducted regularly since early childhood and based upon the diagnosis. We believe
that acupuncture, Korean Sutczi Chimsur therapy, homoeopathy, phytotherapy and
Ayurveda play an important role in MS treatment. A correction conducted with
the use of official medications is expedient when deling with bad cases
of MS. Only the complex use of all prophylaxis and treatment methods may lead
to positive results.
