MORPHOLOGICAL INVESTIGATION OF PROSTATE AND REGIONAL LYMPH NODES IN THE CONDITION OF VENOUS STAGNATION IN THE SMALL PELVIS UNDER EXPERIMENTAL CHRONIC ALCOHOLIC INTOXICATION AND A MODEL OF PHYTOCORRECTION WITH PREPARATION “MAXI-SIL”

Structural investigation of the prostate, pelvic lymph nodes (lymph nodes of I order for a prostate) was carried out under conditions of chronic alcoholic intoxication, venous stagnation (21 days) in the small pelvis and correction by means of phyto-preparation “Maxi-sil”.

Experiment is conducted on 80 rats of Wistar line with age of 3 months and initial weight 220-260g. 4 experimental groups were formed: 1) intact animals; 2) animals with chronic alcoholic intoxication (CAI); 3) animals in 21 days of venous stagnation under conditions CAI; 4) animals for 21 days of venous stagnation with phytocorrection in conditions of CAI. Experimental CAI was created by means of free drinking by the animals of 15% ethyl spirit in water solution within 2,5 months. Venous stagnation was created (21 day prior to the termination of drinking of 15% ethyl spirit water solution) by bilaterial ligating of internal iliac veins under Nembutal narcosis (40 mg/kg, intraperitoneal introduction). In the group with correction the animals were given phyto-preparation (a daily dose 2,5 mg on 100 g of weight of an animal) “Maxi-sil” with vivarium ration, since 8 days of venous stagnation, within two weeks. Eutanasia of the animals was carried out under Nembutal narcosis. The prostate and pelvic (tail) lymph nodes were taken for histologic research. The revealed changes under the chronic alcoholic intoxication show: in the prostate - structural desorganisation of own glands, increase in density of microvessels in stroma; in the regional (pelvic) lymph nodes - endogenous intoxication (the T-zone area, the area of structural components responsible for humoral immunity is increased, transport function, macrophage reaction is reduced).

Under condition of venous stagnation (21 days) in a small pelvis and chronic alcoholic intoxication, structural functional transformations in the prostate testify to circulatory (stagnant) damage: parenchyma-stroma index is reduced (the area parenchymas is reduced), arterio-venular ratio is increased (dilation of arterioles and venules), parenchyma hypostasis, gleams trailer of secretory departments of own glands are reduced with stagnation of a secret. In the pelvic lymph nodes the structural transformations testify to oppression of a cellular link of immunity (the area of T-dependent zone is reduced), activation of humoral immunity (the areas of the B-dependent zone, number of mature plasmatic cells are increased) and strengthening of the lymph drainage through a lymph node (the area of sinus system is increased).

Application of a phyto-complex “Maxi-sil” as a means of correction of experimental venous stagnation (21 days) in a small pelvis promotes restoration of parenchyma-stroma ratio and haemocirculation improvement (the area of arterioles is reduced), in comparison with group without correction. In the pelvic lymph nodes structural signs of oppression of the cellular and activation of the humoral immunity (the area of brain substance is increased, the number of unripe forms of lymphoid and plasmatic cells increases) are observed and more expressed, in comparison with group without correction.

Thus, researches have shown that specific herbal treatment by phyto-complex “Maxi-sil” of the venous stagnation in a small pelvis possesses prostate-tropic and lymph-improving action, activating processes of hemomicrocirculation in the walls of a small pelvis and lymphopoesis in the regional lymph nodes of the prostate.
